New York gets “High,” on Broadway

“High,”

Written by Matthew Lombardo and directed by Rob Ruggiero

Starring: Kathleen Turner

By the time New Yorkers get “High,” on Broadway the play will have gone through evolutions pushed by six months of audience reviews and director revisions.  The final product should be a direct hit among smoking critics missing character depth in their theatric consumption.

Kathleen Turner’s Tony nomination for her 2005 Broadway appearance in “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf,” promises “High,” expectations.  In her interview with The New York Times Kathleen Turner was quoted as suggesting Kathleen’s character,

“makes me think of how much we operate every single day on faith and belief,”  even outside of connections to organized religion.

Kathleen has true faith in a clear connection with her character (Sister Jamison Connelly).

Connelly is described by Turner as “a foul-mouthed alcoholic nun.”

Kathleen’s life experience tailoring authentic delivery will make the Manhattan Premiere a must see.  Stephen Kunken and Evan Jonigkeit will also be “High,” acting talents  joining Ms. Turner on stage in early spring.

“High,” previews in Manhattan begin March 25th with an opening scheduled for April 19th at the Booth Theater.

New York City International Performing Arts Reporters will be covering the premiere.

If you would like an interview, are a public figure, government official or VIP and need special seating assistance please contactNewYorkCityInternational.com.

Tracey Lombardi- A Girl from NJ takes over NY

Tracey Lisch Lombardi somehow found the time to sit with Chance Spiessbach of Chance TV recently at Inc Lounge in NY.  Somehow she considers herself a typical Jersey girl, she is a Mother, Housewife, Business Woman, Entrepreneur, Networker, Coach, Talk Show Anchor and Philanthropist. As Tracey explains, “I believe that just because your a 45 year old housewife, there is no reason why you can’t do it all, create your own life, and be a sexy modern woman while doing it.”  She is the quintessential New York City International entrepreneur.

Tracey is definitely not a prima donna with a thousand people actually doijng all the work and she takes the credit. She will cook, clean, work, pick up dirty clothes from each of my 3 children’s room, I walk my dog pick up his poop, I go grocery shopping, I balance a checkbook, carpool, and I am walking on the red carpet by 8pm. I am not a wonder woman, I am the norm. I am the what you see is what you get girl.

The Body Architects NYC

Shaimiane Loiacono is the finest New York City International personal trainer who also has a pre & post rehabilitation specialist degree.  No one cares more and can help you get in shape faster and safer.  Regardless of age, health, shape or injuries you will get in shape and have alot of fun doing it.   When you cross The Body Architects with a New York City International gym you get results !!!

I’m Shaimaine Loiacono a U.S. Marine, celebrity fitness trainer and wellness coach. I’ve been in the fitness industry / wellness industry for 15 years and have passion about what I do.  I’m an accredited Pre/Post Rehabilitation Exercise Specialist and the founder of the Body Architects. I have developed a fundamental and efficient personnel approach to getting results. My method is simple and direct there is no wasted time during sessions with the primary focus being on the individual. The method is a blend of different training modalities combined in one program backed by science and sound nutritional guidelines to ensure that the desired results are achieved in a timely and safe manner as to avoid injury and over fatigue. The Body Architects method has been taught and used by trainers and top industry professionals so they to gain the knowledge to get the desired results their clients need.

Post Rehabilitation Exercise Specialist (P.R.E.S).  The most commonly asked question is what is a P.R.E.S and how does that differ from a Physical Therapist.

The P.R.E.S main goal is to restore function to the body and get it as close to 100% as after a serious injury or trauma as possible. Where we differ is the Physical Therapist restores function but usually is only in the short term when you are done with Physical Therapy they send you back to the gym a tell you you’re ok to resume training. This is where we pick it up and custom tailor your program with your specific needs with the input from your Doctor and Therapist and work on your overall well being.

Can I get the same results with just a regular Trainer?

A regular Trainer is not equipped to handle these goals for the reason that they focus on the superficial aspect of Training and most are only taught Anatomy. They are not taught enough or any Kinesiology or Neurological programming to assist the client and head them in the right direction. Training is not just muscle there are 3 key factors that are involved The Muscular System, Central Nervous System, and Cardiovascular System.

The Ultimate Party- Molly Sims, Franck Duboeuf and Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais

Wine from Chance TV on Vimeo.

Chance Spiessbach of Chance TV was on the scene to capture the dazzling display of aerial acrobatics, as the first bottles of Georges Duboeuf 2010 Beaujolais Nouveau were delivered into the hands of Sports Illustrated supermodel and star of Vegas tv show, Molly Sims and Franck Duboeuf for the official uncorking of this festive red wine on November 18 at New York City’s new club, District 36.

The wine’s dramatic high wire arrival was part of Georges Duboeuf‘s nationwide Nouveau Cirque celebration, featuring circus theme parties with jugglers, acrobats and other artistic performances. According to French law, Beaujolais Nouveau is released at one minute past midnight on the third Thursday of November. This decades-old tradition is celebrated worldwide with creative events, heralding the wine’s arrival. Beaujolais Nouveau is made from hand-harvested Gamay grapes and bottled six weeks after harvest. Georges Duboeuf, the number one French wine brand in the U.S., is known for throwing the largest and most creative Nouveau celebrations, and this year was no exception.

“This year we celebrate Nouveau Cirque parties in a contemporary circus spirit to capture the excitement of Nouveau and the limitless possibilities for its enjoyment,” said Franck Duboeuf, co-proprietor of Les Vins Georges Duboeuf. “Beaujolais Nouveau is a youthful wine with a fresh vibe. It is an explosion of flavor on the palate with bright red fruits and rich, floral aromas. It is sure to be a crowd pleaser!”   Kevin Zraly author of the best selling wine book of all time , “Windows on the World” as well as beginning his 34th year of teaching his Windows on the World Wine School.

In New York, Molly Sims, whose outfit was coordinated by style guru,  Derek Warburton (Derek Fabulous), uncorked the wine and toasted the crowd of 100 invited top chefs, retailers, wine, food and lifestyle writers.  Guests dined on a circus-themed menu by celebrity chef, Marc Murphy – a judge on Food Network’s “Chopped” – and owner of Landmarc restaurants and Benchmarc Events. Peter Deutsch, chief executive officer of W.J. Deutsch & Sons, the exclusive U.S. importer for Les Vins Georges Duboeuf, noted that Duboeuf Nouveau parties were taking place in almost every state from coast to coast to capture the excitement of the wine’s release, starting from midnight uncorkings in Boston and Savannah and ending with a “Nu Beau” block party in San Diego’s historic Gas Lamp Quarter for more than 2,000 people.

Beaujolais Nouveau is the perfect wine for a party and pairs nicely with a variety of cuisine, from burgers to holiday turkey. This versatile wine is best consumed slightly chilled. At $10-11 a bottle, it is a great value, ideal for serving at holiday get-togethers and social events. For ideas on throwing a Beaujolais Nouveau party at home, visit www.duboeufnouveau.com
