Swizz Beatz giving some back.

Swizz Beatz and Chance TV discuss being famous and giving back to the community.

The fabulous Carlton Hotel in NYC was filled with star studded fashionista’s who came out to support “Fashion for a Cause,” Courtney Dawson’s incredible fashion fundraiser to raise money for ‘The Dawson Scleroderma Foundation.’ Courtney was diagnosed with the life threatening disease 3 1/2 years ago. Famed designer David Meister premiered his incredible Hollywood Fashion Spring 2011 collection while Ramona Singer showcased her Home Shopping Network Roman Singer Collection on the models. Bravo filmed the whole event for The Real Housewives of New York.

DJ Runna and Swizz Beatz, the famous music producer and husband of Alicia Keys showed support by providing the incredible runway music. Swizz Beats also hosted the evening and shocked everyone later with a surprise set. Chance Spiessbach of Chance TV was there to cover the red carpet, all the backstage madness and interview all the models, celebrities, actors, actresses, rappers and stars.

Not only did Ramona make an appearance on the runway but special guest Supermodel Joslyn Pennywell from America’s Next Top Model did as well. Joslyn is going to be a spokesperson for the foundation.

Front row attendees were Alex McCord and Simon van Kempen, Designer Richie Rich, Malik So-Chic, Sonja Morgan, Jared Evan, Luann de Lesepps, and countless others. Special recognition went to celebrity fashion stylist Lauren Rae Levy and event organizer Lisa Singer for her support as well.

More information about the foundation can be found at www.DawsonScleroderma.org.

Devorah Rose – today’s Renaissance Woman

Chance TV and Devorah discuss why no one can fill her shoes (my opinion).

Chance Spiessbach’s friend Devorah Rose met backstage at  Gen Art Resurrection  at Good Units night club in the Hudson Hotel. Models, actors, designers, celebrities were everywhere.  But, is wouldn’t be a party without Devorah.   Chance TV and Devorah discussed how she is carry on the tradition of the successful and powerful women in her family.  Originally hailing from Venezuela, Devorah Rose is a girl who entered kindergarten in the United States not knowing a word of English yet received a masters degrees from an Ivy League university in the study and writing of English-language literature.
At an early age, she earned the opportunity to lead Social Life Magazine as Editor-in-Chief. She worked tirelessly to improve Social Life, spearheading a redesign that has been described as “classic,” “insightful,” and “provocative.” During her young career, Devorah has worked with cover-stars including Kim Kardashian, Kellan Lutz, Lydia Hearst, Ciara, Rachel Hunter, Whitney Port, Alexandra Richards, and Dylan Lauren, to name a few.

In addition to her work at Social Life, Devorah has gained notoriety for her appearances on television shows such as The Real Housewives of New York City, NYC Prep, The Fashionista Diaries, and MTV’s MADE. Now, with the arrival of the CW’s High Society, Devorah looks forward to continuing her work across all forms of media – but these are just some of her many American Dreams. Let’s not forget she modeled for many years and with her face can go back anytime.  She is what makes NY the only place to be.
